What is Pulse PC?

Nationwide remote 1-on-1 help for Windows PCs. Dustin joins your screen on Discord, Zoom, or TeamViewer. You watch. You type the password. One person, no queue. Not a drop-off shop. Not a call center.

What does $30 get me?

$30 books 30 minutes with Dustin, plus sales tax for your area. That’s the time you reserved — if we’re done sooner, you still had the slot. If we stay inside 30 minutes, you don’t owe more.

What if we go longer?

Remaining time is billed at the rate locked when you booked. Remote PC help (broken, slow, malware, OBS, first stream) is $60/hour. Helping you build a PC is more — $75/hour for a parts list or compatibility check, $90/hour if you’re at the bench assembling. Same sales tax. A full hour of remote help at $60 means another $30 plus sales tax after the hold.

When can I book?

Monday–Friday, 6–10pm Central. Starts every 30 minutes. Last start is 9:00pm CT. No Saturday, no Sunday, no daytime live sessions. Those hours are when we take bookings, not a promise every minute is free.

Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, consoles?

No. Windows PCs, PC builds, and stream setups (OBS, Discord, first streams). We do not take drop-offs.

Will you see my files? Who types the password?

You watch the whole session. You type your own passwords. We do not store them. We do not go through unrelated files, mail, or photos. Disconnecting ends access.

What if I cancel or miss it?

Cancel or reschedule before start time and we refund the $30 plus sales tax — email d.banner@getpulsepc.com. No-show without cancel: we may keep the hold as the 30-minute minimum. If Pulse cancels, we reschedule or refund.

Is a fix guaranteed?

A booking is time on the call, one problem, not a guaranteed fix. Some issues need parts you do not have, or a clean install you have not backed up. We will say so.
